Dayma
Habit building for an intentional Muslim life: from a good intention to a deed that lasts.
Dayma (Arabic for “lasting”) helps Muslims who already hold good intentions turn them into small actions they keep doing. Its promise: from a good intention to a deed that lasts.
How it works
- Choose what matters to you.
- Make the action small enough to keep.
- Tie it to a familiar moment, often after a prayer.
- Record, review, and adjust as you go.
You set the time, the amount, and the schedule yourself. Optional private circles let you keep going with people you trust, and your intentions stay private.
Why it exists
Habit research points to a practical start: a doable action repeated in a familiar context. Islam teaches care for both intention and action, and the Prophet ﷺ said the most beloved deeds to Allah are the most consistent, even if small. Dayma gives that meaning a place in your plan, with no streak pressure and no rankings.
Status
The web app is live at dayma.hasanat.dev, and the iOS app is in TestFlight beta. Dayma is one of the projects built within Hasanat.
My role
I founded Dayma and build it: product, design, and engineering across web and mobile.
