JanaWorld is a world of calm Arabic learning games for young children, with Jana and her cat Mimi.
The problem
We give a child the phone for five minutes, then five more, and suddenly it’s an hour. Many screens are designed to hold children and not let go, and taking them away starts a battle. JanaWorld is built to do the opposite.
How it’s different
- Games with a beginning and an end, not endless feeds.
- A warm Arabic voice throughout.
- Parents choose the duration. When time is up, Jana says goodbye gently.
- Play continues off screen with activities using household items and printable coloring pages.
- No ads, and a design informed by early childhood research.
